The feed-back from the model is only our optical impression. On our bike, our sense of balance is telling us a lot, our ears and sight is giving us the idea of speed and our seat is providing the information about the track condition. All these necessary impressions are unavailabe in radio controlled flight. Only our exe is telling us what is happening and experience is providing the right reaction to what we see. Experience is something you get on the field or from a simulator.

Model flight is not only doing something in the air. At the end it is getting the model back safely. In order to do that, it's your personal flight planning to avoid dangerous or illegal areas and finally get you model down not just anywhere. Getting it back to the safe landing spot is important. Avoiding the safety areas where spectators are and other pilots prepare. That's not as prestigous as nice loops and rolls but this is very important in view of model and pilot safety.
